CY Vision is seeking an energetic, self-driven Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships who is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to grow the Company’s business through partnerships and new ventures. S/he will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to identify and pursue new opportunities, develop, and negotiate partnerships, and manage the execution of these partnerships to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes, who plans and implements market and customer penetration strategies to cultivate and capture new business opportunities. Our sales process and customer audiences are highly technical so you should be comfortable working directly with technical teams and communicating clearly across different parts of the organization. Your role will focus on growing the business by winning business and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.

 Responsibilities And Duties:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for business development and partnerships in the automotive industry

  • Develop sales and business development processes and tools to develop customer pipeline and connect sales to growth targets and OKRs

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including joint ventures, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements

  • Develop and negotiate partnerships with key automotive OEMs & Tier1s and other stakeholders

  • Provide collaborative and cross-functional leadership for accounts through the proof-of-concept stage, converting to series production contracts

  • Manage the execution of partnerships to ensure that they achieve their desired outcomes, including increasing sales, and expanding market share

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry, including potential partners, and customers

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field

  • 12 + years of experience in business development or a related field, with a focus on the automotive industry

  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its trends

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnerships

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)

  • Familiarity with Head-up Displays (HUD), Infotainment Systems, or Automotive electronics
